Membership

Becoming a registered charter unit or member is simple and can be completed through our website, email, or mail. To request an email or printable application, please email us at NorthWoodsLivingHistory@gmail.com. After completion and review of your application, a notice of acceptance or denial will be sent via email to the requesting individua. Individuals who are accepted have 30 days to submit the yearly registration fee of $20.00. Details on how to submit funds will be included in the email. Please note, anyone under age 18 can only be registered through a legal guardian/parent and MUST be part of a chartered unit.

All information must be filled out properly and as historically accurate as possible. Units can choose to register multiple members under one registration; you will need full name, contact information and date of birth. Units registering on one application will be responsible for collecting membership dues. Upon completion of your application, the registration form will be sent for review in which historical time-period the charter has been requested. The review process is simple and basic. All the information requested on the application and provided will be reviewed by administration. This means by Allied, Axis, Commonwealth, Civilian, Safety and Authenticity committee members in that set historical time period. The review can be presented during a board meeting, telecom conference and/or special session of review. If approved, your unit charter lasts as long as your yearly dues are paid in full and not delinquent for no more than 3 months time.

Upon receiving your membership card, member will be responsible for filling out the required information on the back of the membership card. Membership card should be carried at all events, at all times. All registered members will receive a membership card with an effective date.
